Discolocas is a New York based collective/club founded in 2022, created to celebrate vinyl culture, musical exploration, and community through curated sonic experiences led by women and allies.

The project began with a two year residency at Our Wicked Lady, where Discolocas developed its identity as a space for musical discovery, experimentation, and connection on the dance floor.

Through carefully curated lineups and all vinyl sessions, Discolocas built a community centered around shared listening and collective energy.

Today, Discolocas continues to expand beyond its residency, collaborating with different venues across New York and growing toward larger events and cultural spaces. The project focuses on bringing its unique approach to musical curation , blending sounds from rock & roll, Latin sounds, reggae, house and unexpected rhythms while creating inclusive environments where artists and audiences can connect through sound.

Guided by a strong feminine energy, each Discolocas experience seeks to transmit a unique and different journey, where musical selection becomes storytelling and the dance floor transforms into a shared emotional space.

Discolocas aims to open opportunities for new voices, collaboration, and transform each event into a collective musical journey rooted in passion, vinyl culture, and community.
